This is a lazy man's way of doing lasagna I hear, but lemme tell ya, ain't nothing lazy about the taste! It's a great freezer meal that comes together in minutes so you can easily have it on hand as you need it or provide it to a friend in need of a meal ❤️
Ingredients
25 oz of frozen ravioli (mix it up with different flavors here like beef, all cheese, etc. I used Alfresco Gulf Shrimp and Ricotta and it was mooonnneyyy. My family devoured it and it came with rave reviews!)
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese, divided
2 tsps garlic powder
2 tsps Italian seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
3 cups shredded mozzarella, divided
24 ounces you favorite marinara
Clues
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Prep a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick spray and a 1/4 cup of marinara spread onto the bottom of the pan.
Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, half the parmesan, and seasonings in a medium mixing bowl.
Layer half the ravioli on the bottom of the baking pan. Top with the cheese mixture. Next layer on 1 cup of mozzarella. Top mozzarella with half the marinara.
Repeat these layers, and finish with a sprinkling of mozzarella and parmesan on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 to 15 mins, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
If you make it a freezer meal, fully assemble in a freezer safe container (do not bake.). When ready to bake, remove from freeze and bake in a preheated oven covered for 45 mins to 1 hour (or until cooked through) and then remove foil and bake for 10 to 15 mins to melt cheese.
Enjoy!
