Philly Cheesesteak Bake (Keto Friendly)

My family devoured this meal! You can keep it keto friendly and serve with some green veggies or cauliflower rice, or enjoy it over potatoes or even on bread if you aren't keto. Either way, you will love it!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • 2 packages of Great Value frozen Sirloin Philly steaks

  • 2 small onions

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced

  • 2 lbs sliced mushrooms, I used a combo of white and baby bellas

  • 8 oz sliced provolone, non smoked

  • 4 oz cream cheese

  • 1/2 cup beef broth

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp garlic salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

Clues

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. In a large oven safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the frozen beef, garlic salt, and pepper and cook it until browned and breaking it up as it cooks. Remove from the pan and set aside, but leave about 2 Tbsp of grease in the skillet to cook the veggies in. If there isn't enough left, add a little more oil to the pan for the veggies.

  3. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until softened.

  4. Add the Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and cream cheese to the pan and combine. Heat through until the cream cheese is melted.

  5. Add the beef back to the pan and combine all ingredients.

  6. Top with provolone slices.

  7. Bake 15 mins until heated through. Broil 2-3 mins if prefer crispy cheese on top.
