Crockpot French Dip Sammies

Who doesn't love a french dip? These cook in the crockpot and then pop in the oven to melt your cheese. So warm and yummy and just perfect for a tv night, game night, anything at all!

Ingredients

Approximately 3 lb beef roast

1 yellow onion, sliced

4 cups beef broth

Salt and pepper

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Softened butter

Sub or hoagie rolls

Provolone cheese, sliced

Clues

Place roast, sliced onions, beef broth, and spices into slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours.

At the end of 8 hours, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove roast and shred beef, reserving liquid for dipping. Spread open rolls onto sheet pan and butter each side lightly (optionally sprinkle with a light amount of garlic powder). Toast bread until lightly brown, about 3 to 4 minutes.

Top toasted bread with shredded beef and provolone. Return to the oven and allow cheese to melt. Serve with cup of reserved liquid from slow cooker for dipping.

Enjoy!!!
